MyPayNow is a finance tech business located on the Gold Coast. Their Pay-On-Demand service enables their customers to access 25% of their pay early, in under 60 seconds via their app.

Re-designing MyPayNow app

In this project, I undertook a comprehensive re-design of the MyPayNow app, which had remained untouched since its initial launch in 2020. The primary objective was to modernise the user interface (UI) and enhance the user experience (UX), ensuring the app’s design was both intuitive and aligned with the latest usability standards while remaining within the established brand guidelines. I along with the Head of Marketing led the creative process, focusing on delivering a user-friendly experience through streamlined navigation and visually engaging elements. The updated design was meticulously crafted to improve functionality and engagement, and was subsequently developed by MyPayNow’s external development team. The successful revamp not only revitalised the app but also set a new benchmark for user-centric design within the brand.

Weekly Edms 

MyPayNow send out two engaging weekly email newsletters (EDMs) for a 340,000-strong subscriber base. By creating visually compelling layouts and dynamic content, I ensured each EDM captured attention and drove engagement. The EDM’s adhered to the brand’s visual identity and featured effective call-to-actions, resulting in stronger subscriber connections and enhanced brand presence.

Monthly Socials

Monthly social media content, including posts, stories, reels, and animations created for MyPayNow’s Instagram and Facebook accounts. The focus was on delivering visually engaging and strategically aligned content that resonated with the audience. This approach led to a consistent average monthly follower increase of +1.8%, boosting brand visibility and building a stronger online community.

Monthly Paid Digital Ads (Meta ads)

A comprehensive Meta ads strategy was implemented with new ads created monthly as part of an always-on approach. This involved producing a variety of static and animated assets to keep the content fresh and engaging. The ads were designed to align with current marketing objectives, with a consistent weekly spend allocated to drive performance and reach. The dynamic nature of the ads, updated month to month, ensured ongoing audience engagement and optimized campaign effectiveness.

From engaging campaign launches that captivate audiences to eye-catching Meta ads and interactive social media content, the below animations were designed to drive engagement and amplify brand messaging.

Out of home Media Campaign

In October 2024 we launched a 6 weeks OOH Media Campaing focusing on Brand Awareness. With a total spend of $254,726 which resulted in approx 1600 accounts created per week. Key media partners in market included Listnr, SCA, Channel Factory, and PDOOH.
